Roast Beef Wrap with Spicy Horseradish Sauce

Hungry? Make it a wrap. Hot? Make it a wrap. Looking for something quick, easy, and extremely satisfying? Make it a Roast Beef Wrap with Spicy Horseradish Sauce. The saltiness of the roast beef, mixed with the fresh crispiness of the lettuce, onion and jalapeno is the perfect match to the creamy, peppery horseradish sauce which uses our Organic MCT Oil, Dijon mustard and horseradish. It is an ideal meal for a hot summer day or even a warm evening paired up with a cup of soup. And, of course, we can’t forget about the many health benefits from the MCT Oil that make this recipe all the better.
Substitutes are welcome for these ingredients (as always!), but this combination is so delicious and certainly a must try!
Ingredients
1 medium size tortilla
2-3 oz. roast beef slices (about 3-4 pieces)
1 ½ cup lettuce, lightly packed
2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 tbsp pickled jalapeno or cornichons
For the sauce:
2 tbsp horseradish sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp SR Organic MCT Oil
Instructions:
(Serves 1)
Mix the ingredients for the sauce and set aside. Warm up the tortilla to make it more pliable, it can be frustrating when a tortilla breaks mid roll up, while closing the wrap and the heat can help keep this from happening. Smear the sauce on tortilla and layer the lettuce and roast beef slices. Top it with pickled jalapeno, red onion and avocado. Make sure you spread out the toppings. You want to get a little of every ingredient in every bite. Finally, wrap it up! If you have leftover sauce, add more to the wrap, or save it on the side for dipping. Either way, you are going to want to eat it all up!
