Recreating Your Favorite 1970's Snacks
There's nothing better than a childhood snack to bring back all the nostalgia vibes. We decided to take some of our favorite 1970's snacks and put a healthy twist on it! Hidden in each of these recipes is some of the best Sports Research products to optimize your daily routine.
1 c hot water
1 c raw cashews
3/4 c nut milk of choice
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- Soak cashews in boiling water for 15-20 minutes to soften.
- Drain and rinse cashews.
- Add cashews and all remaining ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite veggies, crackers or chip.
Snack Pack Pudding
2 medium ripe avocados
1/3 c SR Chocolate Whey Protein Isolate
1/4 c maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice
1/2 c milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Adjust flavor or texture to your taste by adding more milk or SR Chocolate Whey. Serve chilled and enjoy!
1 orange peeled
1 cup orange juice
1/2 c coconut milk
