Immune Boosting Recipes to Beat the Summer Flu
When you think of recipes to help flight the flu, you might think of warm, winter soups or piping hot teas. The summer flu is no joke and it's crucial to keep up your immune support up year round. We've compiled a few of our favorite immune supporting recipes that are perfect for the summer.
Elderberry Mocktail
Ingredients
1 oz SR® Elderberry Sambucus Syrup
3/4 cup Hibiscus Tea
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Ice
Top with Sparkling Water
Instructions
1. Combine Elderberry Syrup, Hibiscus tea and Lemon juice. Pour over ice and top with Sparkling Water.
Green Detox Smoothie
Ingredients
2 scoops SR® Collagen Peptides
2 cups Spinach
1 cup Cilantro
1 tbsp Chia Seed
1 cup Frozen Pineapple
1 cup Coconut Milk
1 cup Orange Juice
Instructions
1. Throw all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Sip and enjoy!
Golden Hummus
Ingredients
1 can of Chickpeas
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Tahini paste

1 clove of Garlic
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin
2-3 tbsp water
1/4 tsp Paprika
Salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with toppings you like!
Carrot Ginger Dressing
Ingredients
1/4 c SR® Organic MCT Oil
1 large Carrot, chopped
1 inch knob of Fresh Ginger
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/3 c Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Honey
1 Garlic clove
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place all ingredients for the dressing into a blender and blend until smooth. Drizzle over your favorite summer salad and enjoy!
